Edward La Motte II
Sadly yesterday, my grandfather, Eddie's great grandfather, Edward La Motte II, passed away. He was 90 years old and lived a long and wonderful life! We are so happy that we had the opportunity in December to introduce Eddie to his great grandfather and got wonderful pictures of the memory. Here is a picture of my grandfather with Eddie and one in his younger years with his mother and father in-law, Ida and Joseph Slade (my great grandparents). Grandpa was quite tall!

What is Eddie doing now?
What is Eddie doing now? Rolling from one side of the room to the other, loves all vegetables which Ken puree's for him, is now sleeping from 7/7:30 each night until about 7am (think he is having a growth spurt), and is talking a ton. Also, now responds to clap, touch your head, and touch your toes. Something new every day that he picks up on. We think crawling will start soon as he tries but somehow goes backwards when doing so.

Eddie and his cousin Bennett were baptised on 6/7 at Our Lady of Fatima here in Magnolia. It was a great celebration for the two of them and was so nice to have our family all together.

Almost 6 months old!
Well, our little Eddie is almost 6 months old! Time has gone by so fast. Trying to cherish and remember each step along the way as we don't know where the time has gone. He is now laughing and smiling a ton. Tried eating solid foods (rice cereal) this past weekend; we'll see how that goes.
Since the last note, yes we had a boy! We loved waiting till the birth to find out what we were having. What a wonderful surprise. We are very fortunate (knock on wood) that he sleeps through the night and has since at about 2 months. We attribute it to his lucky pajamas - Hartley brand - they are the best things ever! But, we are very lucky with him going to bed around 7 and sleeps till about 6.
What a little blessing he is. We just adore him!

5 Weeks Until Baby Archer's Arrival!

We are officially on the countdown to the arrival of our little one! The pregnancy has gone by so quickly, seems like just yesterday we found out our news. We did not find out what we are having as to add the suspense and excitement of this event. Looking forward to meeting him or her! Counting 5 weeks and 4 days to the big day.
